This study aimed to investigate the role of watching political television programs in developing knowledge among audiovisual students at Ouargla University. The main research question was: does watching political television programs have a role in developing knowledge among audiovisual students at Ouargla University? The study employed a descriptive approach and a purposive sample. A questionnaire was used to collect data and information. The findings of the study revealed that political television programs have a significant role in developing knowledge among audiovisual students at Ouargla University. This is attributed to the fact that these programs provide diverse and important content that responds to the students' interests, which contributes to enhancing political awareness and providing an environment that encourages political discussion and interaction.
