The study dealt with the problem of using information and communication technology in school cheating from the teachers’ point of view. The study aimed to identify the reality of using information and communication technology in cheating within the student community from the teachers’ point of view by identifying the motives, methods and means of using information and communication technology and the effectiveness of it. The smartphone in this phenomenon and its impact on the academic achievement of students, and we have posed the problem as follows: What is the reality of using information and communication technology in school cheating from the point of view of university professors? The study relied on the descriptive approach, by relying on the observation and interview tools that were distributed to a sample of 10 professors from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Kasdi Merbah, Ouargla, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: One of the most important reasons that push students to cheat is the lack of a sense of responsibility resulting from complete neglect, in addition to the interest in collecting points out of success without making any effort, as the student is not interested in attending or studying except during the exam days, so lessons and lectures accumulate in his face, so he resorts to cheating and that the ease and availability of the means that allow this, but some of the sample’s vocabulary attributed the reason to the system of the educational system that is concerned with intensifying lessons and lectures in light of the complete absence of training in the materials, and one of the reasons is also the lack of awareness about the seriousness of this phenomenon and the lack of religious faith.
