The research aims at identifying the databases of theses and dissertations and their types provided by the websites of the central libraries and Iraqi Universities, and the research sample consisted of (10 libraries), which is an intentional sample from various Iraqi public Universities in which there are postgraduate studies and distributed throughout the country. Results of study included (60%) of the research Sample libraries provide evidence, directories, or indexes of theses and dissertations through their website. A percentage (20%) of the libraries is known in the automated index available on the library’s website. A percentage (20%) does not provide any means of identification. The study recommended design a ready-made database of letters and dissertations to be approved by libraries and universities that includes rows (records) and columns (fields) with bibliographic information or includes a download of digital content for them. The database is linked by logical and relational links, and it may be hierarchical, starting with the Ministry, then Universities, then Colleges, and after that, we reach the Theses and dissertations of the departments or versa.
