The aim of the research was to identify "the effect of using the negotiation strategy in acquiring philosophical concepts for the fifth literary students and developing their free thinking". The researcher followed the experimental design with two equal experimental and control groups, with a pre and post test. The Duluiya Education Department, so the researcher chose Al-Salam High School for Boys intentionally, and the research sample reached (78) students, including (40) students for the experimental group, and (38) students for the control group. The rate of the previous year, their free thinking test, and the parents’ academic level), the research tool was represented by an achievement test consisting of (81) items, and the free thinking scale consisting of (30) items. And the presence of statistically significant differences in the measure of free thinking in favor of the students of the experimental group, and in the light of the results of the research, the researcher recommended a number of recommendations and proposals.
