The research aims to identify the role of school curricula on the education of the values of tolerance, acceptance of others, peaceful coexistence, rejection of violence and terrorist ideology, and strengthening of the national spirit of building society. The researcher adopted descriptive and analytical methods for its relevance to the nature of the research and its procedures. For this purpose, she prepared a questionnaire consisting of (39) items which its ostensible veracity is (87%) and stability coefficient has reached (0.85) which was applied on (100) sociology teachers of both genders in Al-Karkh/ 2 Directorate and the results found that almost all the paragraphs are statistically significant. The researcher also analyzed some of the upper and lower questionnaire items and through the results of the research, she concluded that educational curriculum has an important role in facing terrorist ideology, and for the school a big role to curtail violence and extremism.
