The current study aimed at identifying the administrative and educational challenges facing speech training teachers in deaf and hard of hearing programs. The descriptive approach was used, and the study sample consisted of (174) male and female teachers of speech training in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The researchers developed a questionnaire as an instrument of the study. The study concluded that the Speech Training Teachers have an (average) level of administrative challenges as a whole, with a mean score of (3.54). They also have a (medium) degree in educational challenges, with a mean score of (3.65) for the whole dimension. About the impact of demographic variables on administrative challenges, the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences attributable to the variables of gender, training courses and educational qualification in all areas, except for one field, in addition to the statistically significant differences attributable to the impact of years’ experience and the workplace in favor of both integration classes and centers for special education services. Regarding the impact of a set of demographic variables on educational challenges, the results showed no statistically significant differences attributable to variables of gender, workplace, training courses, years’ experiences in all except for the field of equipment and tools. Besides, the results showed statistically significant differences in educational challenges attributed to gender in favor of females. The study presented a set of recommendations, including working on preparing and providing the speech training teachers with training methods, modern techniques, appropriate tests, and clarifying the rules and regulations for the speech training teachers.
