This study aims to verify the effectiveness of a program based on reality counseling to develop resilience in deaf female adolescents. The study sample consisted of (40) deaf female adolescents at Al-Amal school for the deaf in Benha, Qalubia Governorate aged 15-18 years with IQ between 90-110 with heaing loss degree 70+ dB whom achieved the lower degrees on resilience for deaf female adolescents’ scale. The sample divided into two equal groups: Control group consisted of (30) deaf female adolescents and Experimental group consisted of (10) deaf female adolescents. Resilience for deaf female adolescents scale and the program based on reality counseling to develop resilience in deaf female adolescents were used. The data verified through Mann-Whitney test for independent groups, Wilcoxon signed ranks test for ranking the correlated groups, and pairwise comparisons test to determine the orientation of the three measurements to identify the effect of the program. The study results showed the effectiveness of the program based on reality counseling to develop resilience in deaf female adolescents. (Published abstract)
