A study that aims to achieve a general goal, which is to identify educational punishment between Islamic educational thought and educational philosophies, in terms of dealing with the identification of Islamic and philosophical educational thought, as well as introducing educational punishment and clarifying its characteristics and controls, and determining the moral standard for educational punishment between Islamic thought and educational philosophies, in addition To clarify the controls of educational punishment in Islamic educational thought. By relying on the descriptive analytical approach, as it is the approach closest to the nature of the study. The study reached several results, which are as follows: 1) Adopting an educational research map that takes care of comparative studies that clarify Islamic educational thought and its advantages and within the framework of the potential contemporary initiative that is expected from Islamic educational thought, which is: to complete the missing links in public perceptions that answer the most urgent questions that stand behind educational practices and the prevailing general mood that It dominates educational policies in the world, where Islam is expected to provide the human complement to contemporary technical development. 2) Conducting comparative studies between Islamic intellectual trends that show the advantages of each orientation and promote a return to the pure source, the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger. 3) Adopting teacher and educator preparation programs that contain what develops the skills of comparison, rooting, inference and cultural selection among university students in the Department of Fundamentals of Education and in the rest of the departments. Adopting qualitative research that reflects the results shown by comparative research in order to have more credibility for the results and recommendations produced by comparative research.
