The study aimed to explore the reality of talent management among students to achieve sustainable development in basic education schools in the Al-Dakhiliyah Governorate of the Sultanate of Oman. The study employed a descriptive analytical approach, utilizing a case study design to investigate the subject within its organizational framework, namely the Ministry of Education. To test the study's hypothesis, which posits that training schools in talent management will enhance the skills of their personnel to achieve the dimensions of sustainable development, the researcher opted for a procedural method to assess the validity of the hypothesis. To collect data on the case under study, the researcher utilized semi-structured individual interviews, focus groups, document analysis, observation, and reflection. The study results indicated that talent management in schools faces considerable challenges, while also identifying opportunities for development through the pre-evaluation. The post evaluation results of the talent management reality revealed a clear plan for developing the skills of gifted students to achieve the dimensions of sustainable development. The study proposed a series of recommendations, including organizing training courses for teachers to enhance their skills in talent management, establishing partnerships with local institutions to strengthen financial and moral support for schools, designing interactive educational programs addressing sustainable development topics, and conducting regular evaluations of the effectiveness of school programs in managing student talents.
