دور مقررات التربية الفنية في تنمية المهارات الفنية والتقنية لدى طلبة كلية التربية الأساسية في دولة الكويت
The study aimed to identify the role of art education courses in developing artistic and technical skills among students of the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait, and the effect of some variables on this. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach, the sample consisted of (250) male and female students in the Department of Art Education at the College of Basic Education, the tool included a questionnaire consisting of (42) statements distributed across two axes. The study results indicated that the role of art education courses in developing artistic skills as a whole and across all dimensions was moderate. The cognitive dimension ranked first, followed by the formal dimension, then the creative dimension, finally the expressive dimension. The study also found that the role of art education courses in developing overall technical skills was moderate. Furthermore, the results indicated no statistically significant differences between the average of the study sample individuals regarding the role of art education courses in developing artistic and technical skills due to the variables of gender, academic year, and GPA. In light of the findings, the study presented some recommendations. (Published abstract)
