فاعلية برامج الشات بوت (chatbot) في تعزيز التعلم الذاتي لدى طلاب الجامعات الكويتية : دراسة تطبيقية
The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of chatbot programs in enhancing self-directed learning skills among university students in Kuwait. The study used a quasi-experimental design with experimental and control groups, including pre- and post-assessments. The study population consisted of all undergraduate students in Kuwaiti universities, and a purposive sample of 80 students from three universities was selected. A self-directed learning skills scale was used to assess various dimensions of self-learning. The results showed significant improvement in self directed learning skills among the experimental group using chatbot programs, compared to the control group, with a substantial impact on all studied dimensions. Based on the findings, the study recommended integrating chatbot programs into the educational process to develop students' self-directed learning skills, as well as providing the necessary infrastructure to support this digital transformation in universities.
