This study aimed to explore the predictability of achieving sustainable development through the application of e-governance in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman. The study employed a descriptive methodology to achieve its objectives and utilized a questionnaire as a tool for data collection to answer its research questions. The sample consisted of 375 employees from the Ministry of Education in Oman, representing 15.5% of the original population. The results indicated that the degree of application of e-governance in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman was moderate, and the level of achievement of sustainable development in the ministry was moderate. The findings revealed a strong relationship between the application of e-governance and the achievement of sustainable development, suggesting that as the quality of e-governance increases, the potential for achieving sustainable development also increases. The study recommended developing the infrastructure, as the results showed it to be the most impactful factor, and improving security and privacy to enhance trust in e-governance. Additionally, it suggested identifying priorities and educational projects that align with the concept of sustainable development and its goals, as well as enhancing cooperation and coordination among stakeholders both within and outside the ministry to achieve sustainable development objectives.
