التجول العقلي وعلاقته بالقلق الدراسي ومهارات التفكير الناقد والتفكير الابتكاري لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية



The study aimed to identify the relationship between mental wandering, study anxiety, critical thinking skills and creative thinking of Secondary School students, the sample consisted of(160) students from Cairo, and the following metrics were used: applying the mental wandering scale(Helmy El-Feel, 2018), study anxiety (prepared by the researcher), the critical thinking test (Wejdan Nader, et al 2016), and the Torrance test of Creative Thinking, the results showed a positive relationship between mental wandering and study anxiety, and the existence of a negative relationship between mental wandering and both: Critical thinking and creative thinking skills, and found differences between the realistic average and the hypothetical average in mental wandering in the direction of the realistic average, and found differences in mental wandering according to the type (male-female) in the direction of males and according to the grade (first-second) in the direction of the first grade.
