This study aimed to identify the effect of neurolinguistic programming on the level of and psychological performance of Taekwondo players in the age groups of 12- 17 in Jordan. The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach to suit the nature of the study and its objectives, on a random sample consisting of (46) players aged (12- 17) years, who were divided into two experimental groups consisting of (23) players and a control group comprised of (23) players. The data were collected using a questionnaire designed by the researcher, which included two areas: self-confidence and motivation for sports achievement to measure the level of psychological aspects. The researcher designed the neurolinguistic programming program, and it was applied to the experimental group and consisted of (9) sessions of neurolinguistic programming for players. The researcher used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to extract arithmetic means, standard deviations, Cronbach Alpha, Independent t-test, and Pairedsamples T-test for related groups. The results showed that neuro-linguistic programming has a clear effect on the technical performance of Taekwondo players. The results also showed statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05 >=a) between the pre-and postmeasurements of the level of psychological and technical performance among Taekwondo players according to the neuro-linguistic programming variable, as the experimental group was better than the control group in the psychological and technical aspect and favor of the post-measurement. The researcher recommends the necessity of using neuro-linguistic programming because of its positive effect in improving the level of technical performance and psychological performance.
