القدرة التنبؤية لعوامل الرضا عن الحياة المدرسية والمرونة الأكاديمية بالمشكلات السلوكية والإنفعالية للطلبة الموهوبين في دولة الكويت
The study aimed to identify the predictive ability of the factors of satisfaction with school life and academic flexibility with the behavioral and emotional problems of gifted students in the State of Kuwait. The sample reached (120) gifted male and female students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers built the study scales, which are a measure of school life satisfaction, scale of academic flexibility, and a scale of behavioral and emotional problems, and their validity and reliability were verified. The descriptive correlational approach was used to answer the study questions. The results indicated that gifted students had a high degree of satisfaction with school life, and a modrate dgree of academic flexibility, and behavioral and emotional problems. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences attributed to the effect of the gender category on the degree of satisfaction with school life and the degree of behavioral problems and emotional problems of gifted students in the State of Kuwait in all fields and the overall score except for the dimension of living in society, and the differences were in favor of the female category. There were no statistically significant differences attributed to the effect of grade on the degree of satisfaction with school life for gifted students in the State of Kuwait in all areas except for the school dimension and the scale as a whole, and the differences were in favor of the tenth grade group. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences attributed to the effect of the gender category on the degree of academic flexibility of gifted students in the State of Kuwait in all fields and the overall grade, and the differences were in favor of the male category. There were no statistically significant differences attributed to the effect of grade on the degree of academic flexibility of gifted students in the State of Kuwait in all areas except for the school dimension and the scale as a whole, and the differences were in favor of the tenth grade group. The results also indicated that school life satisfaction factor explained 0.041, and academic flexibility explained 0.011 of the variance occurring in the behavioral and emotional problems of gifted students in the State of Kuwait. The study recommended providing flexible educational services that meet the needs of gifted students in Kuwait, in addition to providing specialized psychological counseling services to deal with the psychological and behavioral problems of gifted students in Kuwait.
