جودة الحياة لدى أمهات الأطفال ذوي إضطراب طيف التوحد وفق بعض المتغيرات
The research aims to identify the quality of life of mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder, and according to some variables (degree of autism disorder, child’s rank, and mother’s academic qualifications), in some centers in Damascus City. The research sample included (40) mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder. To achieve the research objectives, The Quality-of-Life Scale was used. It was prepared by the World Health Organization. The results of the search were as follows: The Level of Quality of Life among mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder was average, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample members on the scale according to the variable of degree of disorder, in favor of mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder with a mild degree.In addition,there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample members on the scale according to the child’s ranking variable, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research sample members on the scale according to the academic qualification variable and in favor of the higher academic qualification.
