أثر برنامج تعليمي قائم على استراتيجية التعلم الإتقاني في مستوى المهارات الحياتية وبعض مهارات كرة اليد لدى طلبة كلية علوم الرياضة - الجامعة الأردنية
This study aimed to explore the effect of an educational program based on the mastery learning strategy on life skills and selected handball skills among students at the School of Sport Sciences, University of Jordan. A quasi experimental design was applied to a purposive sample of 37 students enrolled in the Basic Handball Skills course during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The participants were divided into an experimental group (21 students), taught using the mastery learning strategy, and a control group (16 students), taught using the traditional method. Data collection involved skill performance tests (dribbling, passing, and receiving, shooting) and a questionnaire addressing self-confidence, decision-making, and communication. Statistical analysis, conducted using SPSS, revealed significant improvements in the post-test results for both groups, with the experimental group outperforming the control group in self-confidence and decision-making. The study recommends training educators in the mastery learning strategy to enhance life and educational skill. (Author’s abstract)
