The study aimed to identify the level of educational growth through teaching practices by 130 male and female Islamic studies teachers in middle schools in Riyadh city by way of utilizing descriptive survey approach through a survey. Results showed teachers excellence in their teaching methods and approaches to achieve learning growth. Additionally, they showed that teachers used emotional development, skill development, and knowledge development as the most to least used methods, respectively. As for the hierarchal level, knowledge development became first followed by emotional and skill developments. In accordance with these results, it is advised to focus on all behavioral objectives (knowledge, emotional, and skill) to achieve educational growth since these are the most related to the teaching process, teachers are knowledgeable about them, and they are the most used in practice. Also, it is recommended to train teachers on teaching practices in all three fields, specifically, in formatting methodology, application, and in their abilities to measure educational end results. Moreover, teacher training programs should be concentrated on to improve teaching practices according to methodological and hierarchal levels. (Published abstract)
