The study aimed to develop pragmatic language among hearing-impaired students with cochlear implants in the primary stage. The study sample consisted of (9) hearing-impaired students with cochlear implants in inclusion schools in the primary stage in Port Said Governorate. Their ages ranged between (12:10) years, with an average of (10.77), and a standard deviation of (0.83), and their intelligence ranges between (80:92) with 5 an average of (84.66), and a standard deviation of (4.18) on the Stanford Fifth Image Structure Test, and degrees of hearing loss range between (51:67), with (5) males and (4) females. The researcher used the experimental method with a quasi-experimental design for one group with two pre- and post-measurements. The study tools were the linguistic skills scale (prepared by Najla Talha, 2022), and the pragmatic language test. (prepared by the researcher), and the pragmatic language development program (prepared by the researcher), and building a handbook for the trainee, and a guide for the trainer. The results of the study reached: the presence of statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the experimental group’s scores on the pragmatic language test in its dimensions (non-verbal language during dialogue, language Verbal language during dialogue, rules for organizing conversation, use of language for social communication, and skills as a whole) in the pre- and post-measurements in favor of the post-measurement, and there were no statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the experimental group’s scores on the pragmatic language test with its dimensions (non-verbal language during dialogue, verbal language During dialogue, rules for organizing conversation, use of language for social communication, and skills as a whole) in the post and follow-up measurements.
