The study aimed to investigate the impact of the practice of group counseling techniques by faculty members at Saudi universities on enhancing students' mental health. The study sample included (30) female students at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University; the sample was equally divided into an experimental and control groups, each consisting of (15) students each. The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach as a study methodology, and relied on the mental health scale and the group counseling Techniques List as research instruments. The study obtained several results, most importantly the following: The most important group counselling techniques included (questioning - confrontation - reflection - interpretation - modelling - feedback), the absence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores for members of the experimental and control groups on the levels of mental health in the pre-measurement; the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores for members of the experimental and control groups on the levels of mental health in the post-measurement, in favor of the experimental group; and the absence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores for members of the experimental group on the levels of mental health in the follow-up measurement. The researcher presents several recommendations, most importantly the following: the need to focus on using of group counseling techniques at Saudi universities; and the need to organize counseling programs to enhance students' psychological levels.
