The research aimed to determine the reality of the role of the College of Education in developing the cognitive, value-based and behavioral aspects that constitute environmental awareness among its students, in addition to determining the level of availability of environmental values among these students, and presenting a proposed vision to enhance its role in developing environmental citizenship values among its students. The researchers used the descriptive approach because it is appropriate for the nature of the current research in terms of describing the intellectual foundations upon which the values of environmental citizenship are based, analyzing the role of colleges of education in developing environmental citizenship values among their students, and finally developing a proposed vision to enhance the role of colleges of education in developing environmental citizenship values among their students. The study reached many results, including the weakness of the role of the College of Education in developing environmental knowledge, values, and behaviors among students. In light of the results reached by the reseachers, a proposed vision was developed to enhance the role of colleges of education in developing environmental citizenship values among their students.
