The research aimed at investigating the effectiveness of an eclectic counseling program to develop psychological fitness dimensions among student teachers at the faculty of education, Port Said University. The participants of the study consisted of (22) students (3) male and (19) female. Their ages varied between (18-21) years. In this study, the experimental group with one group pre and post-test was used. The instrument was a psychological fitness test. Results revealed that: also proved that there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean ordinal score of the student teachers in the pre and post-measurement of the total score of the psychological fitness scale and the branch dimensions in favor of the post-measurement. And finally, there are no statistically significant differences between the mean ordinal score of the student teachers in the post and follow up-measurement of the total score of the psychological fitness scale and the branch dimensions. The study suggested some recommendations which are: developing electric counseling programs regarding their impact on improving the personal, social, and emotional sides of the students in the university, conducting more research and studies about the psychological fitness and its dimensions of the university students, and academic supervisors and connect them to some variables such as sex, motivation to learn, and achievement, and finally media broadcasts counseling and awareness programs for the family to emphasize the phenomenon of excellence and appreciate the attitudes and needs of the advanced students.
