The aim of the research is to determine the prevalence of alternative perceptions of psychological concepts of secondary school students. The sample of the study consisted of (30) female senior secondary students in Port Said, Egypt. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach. The research tool was the test of the diagnosis of alternative perceptions of psychological concepts prepared by the researcher. The results have shown the existence of a number of alternative perceptions of psychological concepts among senior secondary school students in psychology. Their prevalence was large which reached up to (90,6 %) for some of them. Additionally, the prevalence of the alternative perceptions of psychological concepts has been determined in addition to preparing a list of psychological concepts with the alternative perceptions of third-grade secondary students, which ranged from 40 and above including forty-five (45) concepts. In light of the list of psychological concepts with alternative perceptions, interviews were conducted with the research group sorting out the wrong, irregular, and substituted patterns of alternative perceptions determine the percentage and the pattern of the general perception of each concept.
