The study aimed to identify the leadership styles of practice for managers of middle and high schools in Alras governorate, and their relationship to the level of activation of initiatives and projects of the Ministry of Education and the disclosure of significance statistical differences in ratings of leadership styles and activation initiatives and projects of the Ministry of Education at the middle and high school principals in Alras governorate may be due to (experience, educational qualification, stage and age). The study used descriptive method correlative, and building a questionnaire composed of two domains contains (36) items. The study population consisted of all secondary school leaders and middle-Alras contains (67) leader. The study results showed that the leadership styles of practice for the leaders of middle and secondary schools in the province of Alras was very high. The level of activation of initiatives and projects of the Ministry of Education at the middle and high schools in Alras governorate leaders were high. he presence of correlation between the degree of leadership styles and the level of activation of initiatives and projects of the Ministry of Education at the middle and high schools. There are no statistically significant differences in ratings of leadership styles and activation initiatives and projects of the Ministry of Education due to stage a qualified scientific and educational exception of leadership style and attention to the tasks for the bachelor. A statistically significant differences in ratings of leadership styles (task workers) and the importance of applying the basic elements and fields of knowledge management initiatives and educational projects due to age, and statistically significant differences in the degree of appreciation after the leadership and attention to employees due to experience, and attention to workers and the importance of applying the basic elements and fields of knowledge management initiatives and educational projects due to experience.(Published abstract)
