The personality of the higher education students is shaped through experiences, skills and knowledge acquired in the scientific community, which is reflected on the educational aspects such as perception and social work groups that help students to practice decision making. The study aimed to identify the degree of decision-making practice among work groups among postgraduate students in the department of fundamentals of education at Qassim University from their point of view, and to identify the existence of statistically significant differences for the study sample in regard to the variables of gender, age, work experience, academic stage and specialty. The study used the descriptive survey method and adopted the Mansour scale for the decision-making to collect the data, the study sample consisted of 124 male and female students, who were randomly chosen from higher education students in the Department of Foundations Educations. The study concluded that the decision-making in the work groups is widely practiced by the higher education students in the Department of Foundations Educations and that there are no statistically significant differences when it comes to decision-making according to the variables of gender, age, work experience, academic stage, and specialty. The most important conclusions reached by the study the crucial role of the educational community in creating diverse experiences that help students increase confidence in themselves by expanding their horizons with the problems they face in their academic journey in order to make decisions that commensurate with achieving their goals. One of the important suggestions is to conduct other studies based on other variables such as intelligence and values and compare it with the results of the current study. (Published abstract)
