وحدة مقترحة في العلوم مصممة وفق مبادئ التعليم المتمايز لتنمية مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى طلبة الصف السابع
The aim of this study was to design a proposed unit in science, in accordance with the principles of differentiated education and its anticipated role in fostering critical thinking skills among seventh-grade students. The researcher adopted both, a descriptive approach (analytical method: for content analysis and establishing the criteria for differentiated education standards), and a constructivist approach (for design the proposed Unit). The study sample consisted of part one and part two of the seventh grade Science curriculum in Palestine (for the School Year 2025-2026). The study tools were as follows: 1) A content analysis tool consisting of (25) items, distributed through four fields: a) Diverse educational resources and instructional supports that promote differentiated education. b) differentiation in educational outcomes. c) Differentiation in educational activities. d) Differentiation in evaluation. 2) A 20-item critical thinking skills test, covering four skills: a) Prediction of assumptions. b) Interpretation. c) Deduction. d) Discussion assessment. 3) A learning style scale. 4) A 13- item assessment tool for the proposed Unit, developed by the Researcher in accordance with differentiated education, ensuring the validity and reliability of the tools. A group of referees reviewed the Unit, and recommended some changes that were. in most, adopted by the researcher. The Unit was subsequently shared with a group of experts in education who were asked to evaluate the extent to which the Unit meets the standards of differentiated education, based on the evaluation tool. The analysis of the proposed Unit revealed that differentiated education was extensively incorporated into the proposed Unit. The analysis of the proposed unit revealed that differentiated education was extensively incorporated in the Unit. Accordingly, the study recommends restructuring the content of the Science book in accordance with the principles of differentiated education, given its significant role in enhancing, reinforcing, and promoting critical thinking skills.
