The research aimed at defining the effect of a proposed unit of mechatronics in the development of academic achievement and the professional tendencies of students with auditory disabilities at the technical secondary stage, the sample consisted of (12) male and female students with auditory disabilities in the second grade in Al-Amal technical secondary school for deaf and hearing impaired in Port Said, the research used the analytic descriptive method, the experimental method semi-experimental design, research tools were an academic achievement test in the mechatronics unit and the professional tendencies scale, results showed a significant statistical difference between the two mean ranks of students scores in both the experimental and control groups in the post application of the academic achievement test and the professional tendencies scale for the good of the experimental group; also there was a significant statistical difference between the two mean ranks of students scores in the experimental group in the pre-and the post-test of the academic achievement and the professional tendencies scale for the good of the post- test which refers to the effect of the proposed unit in the development of the academic achievement and the professional tendencies of students with auditory disabilities in the second grade of technical secondary stage.
