This research aims to identify the teaching practices of faculty members at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in the fields of: preparation and planning, implementation, and evaluation in the light of the developing critical thinking requirements, in addition to determining the level of these teaching practices according to the nature of the college and its field of study. To achieve these goals, the researcher used the descriptive survey methodology, to know the views of students about the teaching practices of faculty members at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in the light of the requirements of critical thinking by applying a questionnaire to a sample of (516) students distributed over the following faculties: The college of business administration in Hotat Bani Tamim; it represents the humanities colleges, the college of sciences and human studies; it represents the scientific colleges, and the college of pharmacy; it represents health colleges. The research reached a many results, the most important of which are: the level of teaching practices of faculty members at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in the field of preparation and planning in light of the requirements for developing critical thinking (sometimes), (always) in the field of implementation, and (sometimes) in the field of evaluation, and the results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05 ) and less between the study sample who study at the college of business administration in Hotat Bani Tamim and the college of sciences and human studies and those who study at the college of pharmacy in favor of the students of the college of pharmacy. The researcher recommended a set of recommendations, including: creating the appropriate academic environment for the development of critical thinking skills, and that the training body at the university design training programs specialized in critical thinking to achieve professional development for faculty members; and provide them with the necessary skills to implement the requirements of critical thinking in their teaching practices and diversify their educational strategies, and train them to use modern assessment methods such as authentic assessment.
