The study aimed to identify the reasons for decline results of eighth-grade students in (TIMSS) tests in mathematics from the point of view of mathematics teachers and supervisors, and to reveal the differences between the averages of the study sample about the reasons for the decline results of students according to the variables of gender and job title. The study used the descriptive approach. The sample consisted of (159) mathematics teachers and supervisor were answered questionnaire included (49) statements distributed over five domains. The results showed that the reasons for the decline results of eighth grade students in TIMSS tests in mathematics as a whole were to a moderate degree, and reasons related to family came in first with large degree, followed by reasons specific to student with large degree also, then reasons specific to curriculum, then reasons Specific to educational environment, and finally, reasons specific to teacher, all of which were moderate. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of study sample about the reasons as a whole and the following domains: reasons specific to student, reasons specific to family, reasons specific to teacher, reasons specific to curriculum according to gender variable in favor of females, while there were no differences about reasons specific to teacher and educational environment, and there are differences about the reasons as a whole, and reasons specific to student, and reasons specific to curriculum according to job title variable in favor of supervisor, while there are no differences bout the following domains: (reasons specific to family, reasons specific to teacher, reasons specific to educational environment).
