مستوى مهارة التصور المكاني لدى طلبة التصميم الداخلي في كلية التربية الأساسية بدولة الكويت في مقرر أسس التصميم
This study aims to identify the level of spatial visualization skill among interior design students at the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait in the design foundations course to achieve the study's objectives, the researcher employed a descriptive-analytical research methodology. A random sample of 197 students enrolled in the foundations of design course was selected, and a survey was distributed among them. After data collection, 194 valid surveys were processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), which involved calculating means, standard deviations, appropriate percentages, independent sample t-tests, and one-way analysis of variance. The study found that the level of spatial visualization skills among interior design students in the Basic Education College in Kuwait was high. Furthermore, the study revealed no significant differences in the mean responses of the study participants regarding the level of spatial visualization skills in interior design, based on variables such as gender, GPA, and academic level. Based on the study's results, several recommendations were made. It is essential to continue emphasizing practical work and real interior design projects within the curriculum, allowing students to apply spatial visualization skills in real-life design projects.
