The study aims to highlight the components of constructing a diagnostic calendar in Islamic education and its importance in constructing learning outcomes. The diagnostic assessment process in Islamic education is carried out in accordance with pedagogical and didactic guidelines. On what basis is the diagnostic assessment constructed? How are its results used to establish resources and build learning in Islamic education lessons? The study adopts a descriptive analytical approach to highlight the criteria for constructing a diagnostic assessment in Islamic education and the mechanism for its use in constructing learning outcomes, while also employing a critical approach at times. The study focuses on the subject of assessment and diagnosis in Islamic education in lower secondary education, in terms of the criteria for its construction and the mechanisms for utilizing its results, with the aim of assisting teachers, especially new ones.
