المنظور الاستراتيجي لكفايات المعلمين في إعداد برامج إثرائية للطلبة الموهوبين والمتفوقين بالتطبيق مع مدارس لواء القصر : المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية
This study aimed to examine the strategic perspective of teachers' competences to prepare enrichment programs for gifted and talented students in ordinary schools in Al Qaser Directorate/ Jordan, and to investigate the effect of the gender, educational qualification and educational experience variables of the teachers. The sample of this study was (350) teachers – males and females- from Al Qaser District Schools/ Jordan. The researchers prepared a questionnaire and used the SPSS to make sure of the validity of the assumptions and to interpret the results. Three dimensions were measured in this study: strategic planning, the professional competences, and the training and professional development. The findings of this study showed that the strategic planning level for developing the teachers' competences to prepare enrichment programs for gifted and talented students in ordinary schools was high. The need for much training and PD level was also high, while the teachers' competences level to prepare such programs was moderate. Other results of this study were that there was statistically significant difference between teachers in their perspectives towards teachers' competences to prepare enrichment programs. These differences were for females, less experience, and higher qualifications. The researcher recommended providing teachers with effective training to enable them prepare enrichment programs for G/T students, and activating the visits among teachers to enrich their experiences, as well as aligning between universities and schools to make sure that the new teachers are able to deal with G/T students.
