The study aims to identify the reality of the role of student guidance in reducing school dropout among students with learning difficulties in the middle school in Jeddah, and to identify the necessary proposals to improve the educational services provided to them from the point of view of school leaders. The study followed the descriptive survey approach and used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The study population consisted of female middle school leaders in Jeddah, and it was applied to a sample of (84) female leaders. The results of the study showed that the role of the student mentor towards female students with learning difficulties was within the degree of verification (very large), as this study showed the importance of the role of the student mentor regarding female students with learning difficulties in first place, followed by the role of the student mentor regarding cooperation with the families of female students with learning difficulties, and finally its role in relation to the school and local community. The results of the study also showed that there were statistically significant differences between the responses of the sample members according to the variables (educational qualification, type of school). The study came up with a few proposals, the most important of which are: establishing a training program to develop the skills of female student mentors towards female students with learning difficulties and creating an electronic support platform based on supporting students with learning difficulties through student guidance.
