The study aimed to measure the role of gratitude in enhancing empathy among high school teachers from the point of view of female students in Mecca. The inductive approach, case study, and mixed quantitative and qualitative analysis were used. A purposive sample of (6) female teachers was selected, and a sample of female students amounted to (202) a female secondary school student. She used the questionnaire as a quantitative tool applied to the female students, and the interview tool as a qualitative tool applied to the teachers. The results of the study concluded that gratitude has a significant impact on the behavior of the teachers and their relationships with their students, which positively affected the level of the teachers’ empathy with their students, and the degree of agreement was The female students achieved a significant degree on all aspects of the questionnaire, with an average of 3.86 for the year. She recommended allocating time within the school schedule for female teachers in which it is possible to sit with the female students, exchange conversations with them, and share their feelings, and train the teacher on listening skills, active listening, social skills, and emotional intelligence.
