The study aimed to identify the mechanisms and challenges of activating the fields of green economy in public secondary schools from the point of view of female principals and science supervisors in the city of Jeddah. The study relied on a qualitative case study methodology. The researcher used an individual semi-structured interview consisting of (12) open-ended questions addressed to female principals. And science supervisors in government secondary schools in the city of Jeddah. The interview was applied to three female principals and three science supervisors in government secondary schools in the city of Jeddah. The results of the study concluded that one of the mechanisms for activating the green economy is the work of environmentally friendly projects that support the implementation of the green economy and the implementation of a number of activities that support the economy. the green. The results of the study also concluded that one of the challenges facing the application of green economy fields is studying green economics as an independent approach in its own right. The study also recommended that the school provide programs to enhance female students’ awareness of the importance of the green economy, develop innovation skills, and green investment in the environment, and that the Education Department provide training workshops for female principals and science supervisors to enhance their awareness of the importance of activating the areas of the green economy in education.
