The study aimed to identify the emotional intelligence of school leaders and the relationship of sustainable professional development methods according to teachers at international schools in Jeddah. A total of (345) female teachers completed the survey. The findings revealed that the level of emotional intelligence of school leaders was high with relative weight of (80.8%), and the level of practice of sustainable professional development methods was high with relative weight of (80.6%).It found that there is a statistically significant correlation between the level of emotional intelligence of school leaders and their practice of sustainable professional development methods. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences at (0.05) or less in the study responses in the level of emotional intelligence of school leaders and their practice of professional development methods of teamwork, and communication. The study recommendations are to design training programs for school leaders to develop their ability to read other people's responses and feelings, guiding school leaders in international schools to develop work within the team, and to highlight the importance of providing a work environment free of conflict and pressure among the members of the team.
