This study aimed to evaluate the teacher development program for fresh graduate teachers at King Abdullah University School with the teacher professional standards requirement for Saudi teachers from the education and training evaluation commission. The study used the descriptive survey approach through a questionnaire directed to the study sample, the (36) mentors for trainees in the program. The study findings reveal that the degree of achieving the standards of professional practices for teachers came at the third level in general, the advanced teacher. The results also showed that the three main standers came in the following order: planning and implementing learning units in the first place and creating and maintaining interactive learning environments in second place and both at an advanced teacher level; and students’ assessment and evaluation ranked third at the level of a practicing teacher. In the light of the findings, a set of recommendations were stated, among them: reconsidering the elements of the program that are related to student’s assessment and evaluation, to add a theoretical and practical field that focuses on using evaluation in the continuous planning process which will support raising the level of this standard to an advanced teacher.
