فاعلية برنامج سلوكي معرفي في تنمية الصلابة النفسية لدى التلاميذ المعيدين : دراسة تجريبية على عينة من التلاميذ المعيدين للسنة الثالثة ثانوي بمدينة متليلي
The study aimed to check ensure the effectiveness of a cognitive behavioral counseling program in developing hardiness psychology among secondary school third grade repeater students. To achieve this, we followed the basic steps of the experimental approach as the appropriate approach to the study, and by adopting the experimental design of “Solomon Four-Group Design”, which is considered one of the most accurate designs for factors affecting the internal honesty of the experiment. In this design four groups are subjected to six tests and measurements, where two of them are treated as experimental groups and the two others as control groups. For data collection, we used the Arabic version of (kobaza,1982) psychological rigidity scale, translated and modified by (Mukhaimar,2002), after confirming its psychometric characteristics, by calculating its validity and reliability. This scale consists of three dimensions (commitment, control, and challenge) and forty items. A counseling program was built on the basis of the rational emotive behavior therapy of "Albert Ellis". The behavioral cognitive counseling program was applied during a period of "5 weeks" at the rate of "9 sessions". The time duration for each session is estimated at an hour and a half, at the rate of two sessions per week. The study sample consisted of the 35 male and female third grade repeater students who study at both "Hajj Allal Benbitour" and "Bulenwar" secondary schools, in the city of "Metlili", willaya of "Ghardaia" and whose results were low on the psychological rigidity scale. After the withdrawal of two students, the study sample consisted of 33 members, distributed by random symmetry, to four groups: the first experimental: A, the second experimental: C, the first control: B, and the second control: D. The results showed that the behavioral cognitive counseling program affects the development of hardiness psychology among: 1) Both male and female repeater students. 2) The repeater students from both scientific or literary specialization. The results have been interpreted in light of the theoretical framework of this study. (Author’s abstract)
