بعض مشكلات إدارة المكتبات بالمعاهد الأزهرية بشمال سيناء : دراسة حالة
The research aimed to identify some of the problems of library management in Al-Azhar institutes in North Sinai. The research relied on the "case study" approach, which is usually used to study a specific reality and is related to quantitative and qualitative information at the present time. The questionnaire was used as a research tool to achieve and define roles and levels. The study collected from a sample of (20) libraries, (15) libraries responded, and the sample was applied to library specialists and those working in them, institute sheikhs, and teachers in North Sinai institutes through five main axes. The study reached the following most important results: 1) There is a severe weakness in the budget allocated to support libraries due to the exemption of students from expenses by a decision from His Eminence the Imam. 2) The regulations and laws related to libraries must be amended. -There is a deficiency in the professional development of library specialists to meet their actual training needs. 3) There is a severe deficit in modern and advanced technological means to support libraries. 4) There is a deficit in furniture and equipment. The study reached some suggested procedures to develop libraries, including communicating with the local community, activists and civil society organizations to support libraries, through gifts and donations, good marketing of libraries, and highlighting their role and importance in the educational process and in society. Conducting training courses for specialists and those in charge of developing their specialized and administrative skills. (Published abstract)
