The research sought to compile evidence from multiple studies on the state of science in the field of foundations of education and its research interests in the field of AI, for identifying research gaps, to present proposals regarding the most important priority research areas, research issues they could relate to AI. The research used descriptive methods, special Meta-analysis, which relied on a scientific review of educational studies and research, published in Arabic on the digital database EduSearch during (2018-2024), which study issues of AI. The number of studies Meta- analysis (65), out of a total of (426) studies in the field of education as a whole. By subjecting these studies to analysis, the research arrived at a set of preliminary results, since (86) issues derived from (65) studies. These issues were analyzed to identify current research directions. This yielded a set of findings: an influx of research issues in one area of pedagogy, namely the sociology of education, and a scarcity in other areas such as the philosophy of education and educational planning. Conversely, other research areas are almost neglected, such as teacher preparation and training, the economics of education, and Islamic education. Furthermore, scientific production is devoid of research in the field of adult education. The research trends reflected a number of indicators that were taken as inputs to provide a vision of the research directions that pedagogy studies and research should focus on in the coming period when addressing issues in the field of artificial intelligence.
