This research aimed at examining the two patterns of visual salience (arrow vs. color transparency) in interactive infographics and their impact on the development of electronic decorative design skills among students of industrial technical education. A quasi-experimental 1x2 factorial design was employed. Independent variables were two patterns of visual salience (arrow vs. color transparency) presented in interactive infographics via web-based learning environment, dependent variables were achievement and skill's performance. The research included the descriptive method which were assigned to two groups. The participants were 60 students (females) selected from the second secondary grade of industrial technical education, the Department of Decoration and Decoration, Al-Shurbaji Joint Decorative School, Al-Arish Educational Administration, North Sinai. The research tools were (Web-based learning environment, a achievement test and a note card). The results revealed the effectiveness of the use of visual salience in the development of electronic decorative design skills among students of the second secondary grade in industrial technical education, and the existence of a positive correlation between: (visual salience pattern with interactive infographic, and electronic decorative design skills) among students of the second secondary grade in industrial technical education. The results also indicated that the first group, which studied with the visual salience pattern (arrows), improved compared to the results of the second group, which studied with the visual salience (color transparency).
