The purpose of this research study was to utilize the Dictogloss teaching strategy to enhance the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) writing skills of first year Arish University medical college students. The focus of this research study was on improving linguistic organization, word choice, language structure, writing mechanics and editing. Actually, a total number of 133 students participated in this research study during the first semester of the academic year 2023 - 2024: 80 students of the participants were female students whereas 53 of them were male students. The instruments that were used in this research study included scoring rubric and an essay writing test. The research study utilized a one-group pre-test and post-test quasi-experimental design. The results showed a significant overall improvement in the participants’ language writing skills, with notable enhancements in organization and writing mechanics specifically attributed to the use of the Dictogloss teaching strategy.
