The study aimed to identify the degree of inclusion of environmental citizenship requirements in the Arabic language curriculum at the intermediate stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from the point of view of Arabic language teachers at this stage. The study population is the origin of the total number of Arabic language female teachers in the area (Al Madina), and their number is (568) female teachers, and the study sample was (75) female Arabic teachers from Junior schools. Determined Randomly, from the female Arabic language teachers in the area of (al Madinah), and the questionnaire was applied the respondents' responses were collected electronically using by Google forms, and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the teachers' responses to the questionnaire, by calculating averages and percentages, analysis of single variance and t test for significance of differences between averages, was used to compare the groups' responses in light of the demographic, academic and occupational variables of the study sample. The study results showed that the requirements for teaching environmental citizenship competencies were achieved to an average degree, and that there were no statistically significant differences due to academic qualification, years of experience, or attending training courses, and based on the results of the study, the researcher came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is to give more attention to taking into account the requirements of environmental citizenship education in planning the Arabic language curriculum at the intermediate stage, and increasing attention to the applied aspects of environmental citizenship education, improving the quality of training programs for teachers in the field of environmental citizenship education.
