Their ages varied between (9-12) years. Sample was divided into two groups experimental and control groups. Following tools were administrated: Stanford-Binet Intelligence, 5th edition (Gale H. Roi, translated by Safwat Farag, 2011), economic, social, and cultural measurement (Mohamed Saafan, Doaa Khatab, 2016), Vineland adaptive behavior scales (Edgar Doll, translated by (Bander Naser El-Eteeby, 2004), and verbal communication test (prepared by the researcher). The experimental group was taught by the children's pictured stories program. Results revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean ordinal scores of the experimental and control groups in the pre-administration in the verbal communication test in favor of the experimental group as (Z) value is significant at 0.05 level. There is no statistically significant difference between the mean ordinal score of members of the experimental group in the post-administration and follow up the administration of the verbal communication test as (Z) value was not significant.
