The study aimed to reveal the requirements for employing artificial intelligence in developing administrative performance at Umm Al-Qura University from the perspective of academic leaders. To achieve the study objectives. A descriptive survey approach was followed, the questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data on a sample of (174) academic leaders. The results showed that the overall average of the total score "high" with an arithmetic average of (3.92), and the financial requirements a very high level (4.32) then the legislative (4.24) with a very high degree, while the other dimensions appeared with high importance degrees of (3.81-3.60) in their order (technical, human, administrative and organizational). And also no statistically significant differences in the assessment of the requirements attributable to training courses and the leadership position, with the exception of differences in the position in the financial requirements in favor of deans versus department heads, while the study revealed statistically significant attributable to experience in favor of experiences greater than (10) years and from five to less than (10) in leadership work versus the category of less than five years, The study suggests training academic leaders on artificial intelligence technology skills and developing joint training programs with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) to create a large database for analysis and data mining at the university.
