The aim of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of a humanistic approach-based program in teaching the curriculum "My eternal language" to develop reflective reading skills among first-year prep school female students. The study adopted the experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design consisting of two groups: an experimental group and a control group, both assessed with pre-test and post-test measures. A test was used as a tool to measure reflective reading skills among first-year prep school girls. The research sample included all first-year prep school female students, from which an equivalent sample of 60 students was randomly selected, with 30 students in the experimental group and 30 students in the control group. The findings revealed the effectiveness of using the humanistic approach-based program in enhancing reflective reading skills. The study concluded with several recommendations, the most significant of which include utilizing the humanistic approach in designing and planning lessons, selecting educational objectives and activities, as well as emphasizing reflective reading skills. It also highlights the need for educators to use modern approaches and strategies to foster these skills among students across various educational stages. (Published abstract)
