The study investigated the effectiveness of Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) in reducing some maladaptive behavior of children with autism spectrum disorder. The sample consisted of (5) autistic infant and toddlers. Their ages ranged between (20- 30) months with mean (25.20) and slandered deviation (4.55). The tools which were applied in the current study were maladaptive behavior Scale for (trainer and mother versions) prepared by the researcher, Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers-Revised with Follow-Up prepared by Robins et al (2009) and translated by the researcher, The Infant Behavioral Summarized Evaluation prepared by Adrien et al (1992) and translated by the researcher , Early Start Denver Model Curriculum Checklist for Young Children with Autism prepared by Rogers & Dawson (2009) and translated by the researcher, Mullen Scales of Early Learning (MSEL) IQ Test prepared by Mullen (1995) and translated by the researcher and ESDM programme for (trainer versions). Results proved the effectiveness of ESDM for (trainer and mother versions) in reducing some of maladaptive behavior of infants and toddlers with autism spectrum disorder in addition to, the efficacy continued until the follow-up period.
