The research aimed to identify the reality of administrative empowerment at Arish University. The research used the descriptive approach because it is appropriate for the nature of the study. The research tools (questionnaire) were applied to a sample of employees at Arish University. The research concluded that administrative empowerment is one of the most important approaches to administrative reform, as empowerment contributes to developing and enhancing administrative thought after shifting attention from the centralized organization approach to the decentralized organization approach to achieve an improvement in the level of employee performance and the performance of the organization as a whole. Administrative empowerment is one of the contemporary trends in the field of educational administration that has received the attention of those responsible for developing institutions of various types and levels due to its effective role in trying to achieve decentralization of management and organization, applying self-management, achieving the independence of the institution, and the possibility of its openness to society as a whole.
