الوحدة النفسية وعلاقتها بجودة الحياة لدى المراهقات اليتيمات في محافظة الزرقاء
The study aimed to identify the level of psychological loneliness and quality of life among orphaned adolescent girls in the Zarqa governorate, and to examine the relationship between them. To achieve this goal, the study adopted the correlational descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of 80 orphaned adolescent girls who visit the Family Awareness and Guidance Center and the Islamic Center Association, within the age group of 13 to 18 years. The sample was selected using simple random sampling, and both the Psychological Loneliness Scale and the Quality of Life Scale, which were developed by the researcher, were applied, with their validity and reliability indicators being verified. The study results showed that psychological loneliness and quality of life, in general, were at a moderate level among the orphaned adolescent girls. The results also revealed a weak positive correlation between psychological loneliness and quality of life. (Published abstract)
