دراسة مقارنة بين طلبة المعلمين الفائزين وغير الفائزين بجائزة الملكة رانيا العبد الله للمعلم المتميز من حيث مستوى تحصيلهم واتجاهاتهم نحو مادة العلوم الحياتية
The aim of this study was to compare the level of achievement and attitudes towards biology among students of teachers who won Queen Rania Award for the Distinguished Teacher with those who did not win the award. The study followed the descriptive analytical methodology data were collected by an achievement test and an attitude toward biology scale from A sample consisted of 323 ninth grade students chosen intentionally from the study population. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the students’ achievement as well as attitudes toward biology in favor of students taught by winners of the Queen Rania Award for the Distinguished Teacher. Results also revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the achievement and attitudes due to student’s sex in favor of female students. (Published abstract)
